I'm a fan and you've made me work a lot down there" and asks Xena to rescue Celesta from King Sisyphus. The warrior princess asks "What is offered to you". The god introduces himself and walks over to Xena. That's why I like you Xena." She says "Hades". Hades greets the warrior princess saying "Always ready for a fight. Hades finds and appears before Xena in her car and talks to her while Gabrielle hides. When Celesta, the embodiment of Death, is captured by King Sisyphus, who hopes of living for eternity, Hades decides to ask Xena for help. Hercules negotiated a deal wherein Persephone would spend half the year with Hades and the other half with Demeter ( HTLJ " The Other Side"). Hercules discovered that Persephone had not been taken against her will. She asked for Hercules' help to go to the Underworld and retrieve Persephone. She caused a winter storm which killed many crops and people in the land of the living.
When Hades became frustrated with Demeter's interference, he "kidnapped" Persephone and brought her to the Underworld. However, Demeter did not approve of Hades. Hades was in love with Persephone, the daughter of Demeter. Hercules did so in ( Hercules in the Underworld). When Cerberus got loose and was wreaking havoc in the Underworld, Hades made a deal with Hercules that he could take his wife, Deianeira, back to the land of the living if he caught Cerberus. He tended to the souls of the dead, Hades called Celesta sister.
He is the eldest brother of Zeus and Poseidon, as well as ruled the Underworld. Young Hercules Hades, God of the Underworld, Afterlife, Wealth, and Lord of the Dead is a recurring character on Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, Xena: Warrior Princess and Young Hercules.
